I m a Yemeni female photographer artist, my main focus remains on women’s rights and living conditions, depicting both the internal and social struggle between tradition and contemporary rights for women and girls.

Gender inequality is noticeable on many different levels of interaction with society. Starting with the way women dress, public freedoms, marriage laws, family laws, identity laws, education, professional, and most importantly perception of women, which is shaped during childhood and therefore requires much more work to change or improve at later stages. In clothing aspect, traditions are implemented on women only. Harassment against women in public and at work force.

More women need to take seats in government in order to change conditions for women. Laws should be created to ensure work equality.
